Zhu Shanlu
Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of CPC
Zhu Shanlu was born in November, 1953 in Jin County, Liaoning Province, Northeast China. He joined the Communist Party of China in July, 1978. After graduating from Peking University with a major in Philosophy, he took his first job in September, 1968. He was ever a middle school teacher, a factory worker; Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Peking University, Director of the Department of the Students' Affairs of Peking University, Director of the Organizing Department of Peking University, Vice-Secretary of the Party Commission of Haidian District. In April, 1998, he became Secretary of the Party Commission of Haidian District, and in May, 2002, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Government. From 2002, he served as Vice-Mayor of the Beijing Municipal Government.
