Two Great Universities
One Great Program
Liaoning Normal University (LNU) and Missouri State University (MSU) created the LNU-MSU College of International Business in 2000. The language of instruction is English, and all faculty meet the hiring standards of both universities
You also have the option to complete a Missouri State University BS degree in General Business, while staying all four years in Dalian. Studying in China will cost approximately $10,000 (including housing, etc) per academic year
The Situation
} Unemployment rate for college grads about 22%
} Unemployed: includes those who were not employed, were available for work, and has tried to find employment during the previous 4 weeks. Also, it includes those waiting to be recalled to a job from which they ad been laid off.the employment rate among college graduate students in China from 1996 to 2005 was 93.7%, 97.1%, 76.8%, 79.3%, 82.0%, 90.0%, 80.0%, 70.0%, 73.0% and 72.6%.
Conclusion
} On third annual Globalization and Economic Policy Center (GEP) conference, Albert Park, professor of the economy of China at Oxford University, said that college graduate unemployment was only a short-term problem, because the Chinese economy will have the ability to absorb the increasing number of Chinese college graduate students (Graduate jobs, rising wages forecast in China's economic changes).

} Unemployment issues in China have become a focus of much social concern, especially for new graduates and returnees.
} If we want a harmonious society, the unemployment issue must be solved effectively.
} It is essential for government, society and individuals to make concerted efforts to settle unemployment pro-actively, such as:
} University/Business Partnerships
} Develop strong relationships with local companies
} Foster an Intern Program
} Work in a cooperative fashion with local businesses
} To form scholarship funds
} Create a Co-Op program with local businesses where students may get paid for work done at the business before they graduate
