Mr.Hawke & Mayor of Zhengzhou Welcome You! |
At the end of 2007, global service outsourcing was positioned by the municipal government of Zhengzhou as the empahsis of the information industry and the local economy during the 11th Five Year Plan. The city is determined to optimize the economic structure by upgrading the service outsourcing industry, building a specialized service outsourcing area, attracting domestic front players in the industry and cultivating some local brands. The turnover of the local service outsourcing industry is expected to reach 5 billion RMB with $10, 000,000 from software exporting. Besides, the city is planning to become a state-level services outsourcing base city and build one or two outsourcing “leading zones”. Zhengzhou will be an important outsourcing base in Middle China or even across the country.
The local government of Zhengzhou wants to take the opportunity of the GOS and invite suggestions from all corporate leaders and industrial experts as to the development of the service outsourcing industry in Zhengzhou. Since it is mutually beneficial for the city and companies at home and abroad to exchange information and share experience, the local government expects to introduce to other guests of the Summit the business environment in Zhengzhou and boost the city’s development.
As an essential hub for transportation and communication as well as an important commercial port, Zhengzhou offers transportation convenience, rich labor resources, low costs for business and support from a mature information industry. Moreover, the local government attaches much empasis on talents, quality service platform, resuorce integration and optimization. It will devise comprehensive development plans and nurture a supportive environment to ensure the sound development of the service outsourcing industry. |
