GOS: Global outsourcing is a bridge for international friendship, mutual help and cooperation

Global outsourcing should be a positive force maintaining world harmony.

On the 1st Global Outsourcing Summit, former Australia Prime Minister Mr. Hawke and other important figures from the polical, business and academic circles appealed to the world that Governments all over the world should actively promote global outsourcing (GO) and that GO is bridge for international friendship, mutual help and cooperation

In 2008, the 2nd GOS will be held in Zhengzhou, which symblizes the world’s affirmation on the importance of global outsourcing and the concept of “harmonious world.” Besides, China, as the host country for this international summit, will continue to play an active part in global outsourcing.
At present, international business and economic cooperation is inflicted with all kinds of trade conflicts; meanwhile, a upward trend in trade protectionism results in even more problems. Trade conflicts can occur among any countries, be it developed or developing country and their influence sometimes can be worldwide and long-lasting.  However, global outsourcing can helf reduce the frequency and number of trade conflicts. From an international perspective, pursuing peace, development and cooperation is the up-to-date trend; building a peaceful and harmonious society is a common goal for most countries in the world. Today, multipolarization and economic globalization are deepened and GO has knited together the interests of the human race. GO will drive the economic globalization toward a balanced, mutually beneficial and win-win development.

The growth of world economy has stimulated the rapid development of service trade. The global business system based on specialization is experiencing continuous development; the speed of global industrial transfer and the flow of production factors are quickened, so are that of scientific innovation and technology diffusion. To maintain and expand their’s own interests, countries are more willing than before to reach a consensus on enhancing economic cooperation and promoting common development. As a result, the 2nd GOS proposes to you: the major economies and international organizations should give active support to the development of global outsourcing; we should try to resolve trade conflicts and disputes in effective ways, move together toward friendship, mutual help and cooperation, strives to build a harmonious world.
